HoYeon

South Korean model-turned-actor Hoyeon received global recognition and praise due to the international successful Netflix original show, Squid Game, in which she was Kan Sae-byeok. The character is who is also known by the name of Player 067. Hoyeon was awarded an award from the Screen Actors Guild Award in Outstanding Performance by Female Actors on Drama Series. In addition, she received an Primetime Emmy Award nomination in Outstanding Supporting Actress in Drama Series. Hailing from Myeonmok-dong which is a suburb in Seoul, Hoyeon began her professional career as a model for hire in 2011 , walking the runway at Seoul Fashion Week. The Korean version of Next Top Model was her fourth season and she ended with the title of runner-up. In 2016, she received her big international break by signing an exclusive global contract in partnership with Louis Vuitton. She's been in numerous campaigns since then , and has was on the runway for a variety of designers, including Fendi as well as Marc Jacobs.
